Better support for calendar subfolders

I am invited to a lot of meetings that I need to know about, but don't normally attend. I have created a subfolder under Calendar and can easily move these meetings to that folder. This is great because
- those meetings don't clutter my main calendar view
- those meetings don't appear in my free/busy
- I can still see the details should I need to attend one of the meetings

But, there are two improvements that would really help:
- when a meeting is in the subfolder, it is not found if the organizer sends an update. Outlook creates a 'duplicate' meeting in my main folder in this case. *** Outlook should also look for existing meetings in the subfolder and update, rather than create a new one
- There is no way to create a rule to automatically move meetings to the subfolder. Outlook should support moving calendar items just as it does for messages. Then it would be simple to tag these meetings and move automatically.

Hi @PerdewSean-5154,

As I know, we couldn't move the receiving meeting items to other sub-calendar automatically, in the point of Outlook rules, we could only move the meeting request/update to a sub-calendar like below via create rules, it would only move the request/update to the sub-calendar and not move the meeting itself, the meeting item is still in your default calendar and it would be re-created there when you delete the item and receive the update next time.

If it couldn't meet your need, for your requirement, it's recommended to submit your feedback in outlook like below(Help>Sugget a feature), your time and effort would be highly appreciated:

I don't mind having to move the appts to the subfolder manually, the bigger issue is that update/cancellations are not processed on the appts in subfolders. Outlook create new appts instead. Thanks - have suggested in Outlook Help
