Newly Created Sharepoint Site Does Not Show Up In Destination List

Hi,

I am doing a Google Workspaces migration. As part of that, I am migrating Google Drive to OneDrive/Sharepoint. For our users, it was pretty straight forward. I mapped their individual Google Drives to their OneDrives. We have a few shared users which own shared data. Those are proving to be tricky. I want to migrate them to a specific SharePoint site that I just created. However, it doesn't show up in the dropdown of the Migration Tool in the Share Point Admin Center. It does show already created sites though. As far as I can tell, there are no differences between the new site and the old ones aside from how long they have been around. Do I need to recreate the migration or something? I don't know why it would fail to find it.

Did you ever get an answer to this issue? I have the same problem going from Google Workspace to Sharepoint. Actually, they were created as Team Sites and have corresponding Sharepoint sites. I can see and select the Teams site and even drop down to individual Channels, but I cannot even see the same ones in the Sharepoint option. Weird thing is I can see about half of the Sharepoint sites. Some work and some do not. I am curious as to what support told you. I even tried to upload my own destinations via .csv and used the copy/paste site link and got errors.

It eventually showed up. There have been a few things like this in Office 365. I recently had an issue where Business Voice wasn't showing a user as enterprise enabled. Turns out I needed to wait an entire week. If you run across something like this, I would just suggest being very patient. If it doesn't show up or work after a week, then raise a ticket.

Hi @JeffGoyette-2623

Since we do not have a Google workspace test environment, we cannot reproduce this issue on our ends. It is hard to go on further troubleshooting. I would suggest you open a service request in Microsoft 365 admin center for better help.

I am having this same issue. There's indication that we need to wait some time before the new site shows up in the destination list. I'm alright with that but 1 week seems a little excessive.

Thanks!

Sam, I am just now running into the same issue. Did the new sites eventually show up in the destination list? I have nearly 300 shared drives to migrate, and I don't mind creating the destination Sharepoints in advance, but I would like to know that they will show up eventually. Not being able to just enter the path seems ridiculous.
