Update Services stops during update import in disconnected mode

I am using WSUS in a disconnected environment, for which I am using two WSUS servers. One is connected to the Internet to download the Binary update file and the other is disconnected to the Internet. I am using wsusutil.exe export and import command to import the updates from the connected WSUS server to the disconnected WSUS server. However, while importing the updates, I have noticed that Update Services are getting stopped. Is this normal or should I manually start the update services once import starts?

Thanks for helping me out. The error being faced is in my disconnected WSUS server which is a part of secured network. I cannot take out the files through USB. Can I share some other details to give better clarifications?

Hello Kartikeya,

Of course. But picture is more intuitive. Please help to confirm whether the WSUS server has finished the import updates until now. Open the WSUS server in the disconnect environment and review that how many updates showing on the WSUS console.

Please let me know if there are any updates of the case.

Thanks for your time.

Regards,
Rita
