MS teams: email to particular channel conversation

I can get the email address of a team channel and start a conversation there by emailing the channel.
But I would like emails to be kept within particular conversations based on some kind of criteria, like their subject text.
At the moment sending emails to the channel with the same subject text just creates a new conversation.
Any help gratefully received.
Steve

Hi @StevePritchard-6752 ,

Based on my knowledge and research, there is no such feature.
For now, as you said, every email sent to the Teams channel will create a conversation, and it's automatically created by Teams that we couldn't modify.

I just post an idea about this feature for you, you could vote on this idea on UserVoice. Some new features would be added to the services based on customers' feedback in the future, and your good ideas will be very helpful for Microsoft to improve the service.

Best regards,
Lou
