Bitlocker Key is not updating in OneDrive

I have tried to retrieve my bitlocker recovery key through several methods:

  1. Going to OneDrive and look for the bitlocker recovery key under my device name.

  2. Using cmd with command manage-bde -protectors C: -get

  3. Going to Control Panel > System and Security > Device Encryption > Back up your recovery key.

Method 2 and 3 gave me the same password and key ID, but method 1 gave me a different password and identifier key ID and it will not update the key on OneDrive (says key update dated few months ago).

I'm wondering if there's a way to fix it? I would like to have consistency throughout the system in case I need the recovery key and method 1 is the only way to access it. Thanks.

Note:

  • I'm signed in to my Microsoft account on the specified laptop

  • I tried to rename the PC and it was updated just fine both on the device and in Microsoft account (that's how I know I'm checking at the same machine)

When we enable BitLocker, the recovery key will be saved in:
1.your Microsoft account
2.a USB flash drive
3.a file which need to be keep in another place
4.a printout.

There is not an option to save recovery key in OneDrive directly.
So I think the bitlocker recovery key which generated by method 2 and 3 are correct key, can be used for unlock your encryption, the bitlocker recovery key in your OneDrive is an out-of-date key. You know, every time we enable bitlocker it will generate a new recovery key, the key in OneDrive should be previous encryption, is no longer valid.
You could manually save current BitLocker recovery key TXT file into your OneDrive.
From my experience, when I enable BitLocker, I usually save my recovery key into my Microsoft account and print it as a PDF, name it as current date then save in my OneDrive.
