Office 365 Sharepoint site has the wrong domain

We recently switched over to MS Office 365. We have users on Teams.

The domain for everything except Sharepoint appears to be correct. Unfortunately the domain for Sharepoint has <domainname>bi.com. The letters "bi" are appended to our domain. (Note this is also our domain but it is going away.)

Before we get too deep into document sharing, we need to have Sharepoint use the correct domain.

How do we fix this? Rackspace told us we'd have to buy all new licenses. This makes no sense since the issue is that it was set up incorrectly in the first place. (by Rackspace.)

Please we're not getting the support we need on this from our MS partner so if anyone can provide some guidance on making this change I'd be very grateful.

@BrianReed-2816,

From your description, domain name in SharePoint site url is different from other M365 services in the same tenant, does the issue occur in all SharePoint sites?

Please go to the admin center at https://admin.microsoft.com>Settings> Domains to check the domain name of your tenant:

Hi Julie. Sorry I just saw this response.

Here's what I see under domains:

So xxxsample.com is there and is the default but notice it says 'No Services Selected'. Rackspace says we would need to migrate all of our email (again) if we want to update this.

Is that correct?

@BrianReed-2816,

In order to get a better forum experience, we changed your answer to a comment.

Since the forum is a public forum, in order to protect your private information, I covered up your domain name.

Please click the "No services selected" to check what actions are needed to repair it.
