Hi, @SarfrazAslam-1813
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

After review your InventoryAgent.log, the action {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000002} is for software inventory, you may do a search for your InventoryAgent.log to see if you can find the action {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000001} (hardware inventory)? Or we can manually run Hardware Inventory Cycle and check the InventoryAgent.log.

And may we know how did you configure the Hardware Inventory in client setting? Did you configure the Default Client Settings or a custom client setting? If we configured a custom client setting, make sure we have deployed the client setting to these issue clients.

Hi @AllenLiu-MSFT

Thank you for your reply. It is a custom client setting and the policy is applied on these problematic clients. In these clients only Hardware Inventory column is blank, Software Inventory is Ok, Heartbeat is Ok and policy request is Ok.

Hi, @SarfrazAslam-1813
Looks like there is no problem in the log attached, the hardware inventory works well on the client, then we need to check the ccmmessaging.log like Jason's link mentioned, if there is a message "MESSAGE PAYLOAD TRANSFER COMPLETE" in this log?
If this step fails, we should look at the IIS logs (Phase 2 – MP Server) to see if there is any indication as to why it failed.

Hi @AllenLiu-MSFT

As per your advise i have checked and seems that "Message payload is complete" now advise further what needs to be checked.

See https://www.recastsoftware.com/resources/updated-troubleshoot-configmgr-hardware-inventory-issues/ for a detailed, step-by-step on determining where these systems are having issues.
