WSUS Server Reboots

We only use WSUS for server updates and the clients report every 20 hours.
I have a dilemma with the production servers.
The production servers are scheduled to reboot every week on Saturday night. This reboot policy is starting at the end of this month.
I would like to use option 4 in GPO but I am not sure if this will reboot the servers.
Until this new policy goes into effect , I am using Opt-3. We install the patches manually for PROD servers and then reboot if required.
Which option should I use in order to install the patches at the scheduled time but not reboot the servers?
What would be the best way to install the updates without rebooting the servers?

Thanks in advance for your help.

@Dan-1451
Thanks for your posting on Q&A.

I would like to share the basic knowledge with you first. Please ignore it if you have already known it. The Windows server will try to reboot to take effect as soon as possible when the servers have installed the important updates. But we could apply some group policies to delay to reboot. The servers will reboot out of the active hours. So I recommended to enable the active hours to delay to reboot. Here are several group policies for your reference:

Enable the below two policies to enable the active hours:

There is no such group policy we could refer to enable the servers to reboot at the specified time, but we could enable the active hours to prevent the servers from rebooting at the active hours.

Hope the above will be helpful.

Regards,
Rita
