Prices Backup Storage account LRS/GRS

I'm configuring the new native option to run a backup for the blob storage accounts.
I don't find out many information about costs, but I already tested and runs well.
My question goes for, If I understand well the backups are doing locally in the same storage account using the control versions for the blobs and containers.
If my storage account is GRS, does my Backup vault do it as well or is implicit?
What difference on costs I will see if the Backup vault is LRS or GRS if my storage account is GRS with all the options to restore containers and blobs has been already activated for a while?

@ForadadaAngrillOriol-9793 Thank you for reaching out to us!

From Azure backup perspective the pricing for GRS/LRS varies depending on the type of backup solution and the workload. More details about Azure backup pricing can be found here - https://azure.microsoft.com/en-in/pricing/details/backup/

I wroted about the new blob storage account backup plan.
In your link it's a generic backup for VMs, SAP and SQL... there aren't information about how it works the backup plan for blob/container storage accounts.

Here there are information about how it's operational and about the setup: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/backup/blob-backup-configure-manage

But nothing about the prices and about my question if it's necessary an backup GRS if the storage account is already GRS.

@ForadadaAngrillOriol-9793 Thank you for your patience!

The current backup solution for blobs is operational, which means the backup data isn’t stored in the vault but remains in the source storage account. Thus, the storage redundancy of the vault does not have any bearing. More importantly, using Azure Backup does not incur any additionally charges other than those due to blob point-in-time restore, additional data stored in the storage as versions, change feed etc., i.e., capabilities on which the operational backup solution relies- more details on this here.

Hope this helps!
