cannot get email cannot connec to server

We have exchange 2016. after renewing ssl cert and the old one expired..... all of a sudden all apple devices 20 - 30 devices (iPhones and iPads) cannot connect to server to retrieve emails with the apple mail app. All android devices are fine. Outlook web app on apple devices works just fine. I am completely Stump on this. I have tried on my iPhone12: resetting network settings, Reboot phone, toggled airport mode, removed account and added back, removed the mail app and reinstalled it I cant be the only one that this has happened to, any suggestions or point me in the right direction to look/trouble shoot this problem. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Hi @madsan56-4203,

all of a sudden all apple devices 20 - 30 devices (iPhones and iPads) cannot connect to server to retrieve emails with the apple mail app.

Was there any error message when this occurs? If yes, it'd be better that you can share the detailed error or warning after removing all personal information for further research?
Are you using the native mail app on these apple devices? If this is the case, could you try testing on one of the affected devices to see if the issue persists on Outlook for iOS?

Hi @YukiSun-MSFT ,

Yes I have resolved the issue. We use a Proxy server with ARR installed. What I failed to do was bind the https on the default website to the new cert. After completing this all iPhones and iPads were able to connect using the default apple mail app
