Hi DheenMuhammadhJaadir-1326,

Thanks for your reply
You can try to in-place rolling upgrade. But there will be an amount of downtime.
Please refer to the following docs which might help:
Cluster operating system rolling upgrade
Upgrading Failover Clusters on the same hardware
Upgrade SQL Server failover cluster instance

Amelia

Hi DheenMuhammadhJaadir-1326,

Do you mean you want to migrate SQL Server cluster 2014 on windows server 2012 R2 to SQL Server cluster 2019 on windows server 2019?
You can try to migrate in parallel with the old and new environments side by side to reduce risk and downtime.
Please refer to this article and this doc which might help.

Best regards
Amelia

Hi @AmeliaGu-msft ,

Thank for the reply.

If there any possibility to get this done without having to create a parallel environment,
I am looking for a seamless migration, any migration paths or guides?

The issue is that 2012R2 is not getting along with the other versions of the windows.

The OS has also to be upgraded (2012R2 -> 2019) and then the SQL version (2014 -> 2019).

Kindly let me know if there is any luck,

Thanks,
DJ
