Sharepoint Json reference a different list?

Hi, probably an easy one - I have a number of json formatted list columns in a large list, but I'd like to be able to do some conditional stuff based off the values of a field in a different list - can we do that? If we can then it makes my life so much simpler.

Per my knowledge, referring another list in the JSON formatting is not available.
