voice recognition question

i am using microsoft mixed reality using a lenovo explorer headset.
microsoft provides speechrecognition.exe to pass commands to both mixed reality and applications.
you actually do not have to have cortana on for this to work.
i have used 2 different pc's (one custom built gaming machine and one lenovo legion)
On both, if you remove your headset speechrecognition.exe redirects away from the application.
i found a solution to this in forcing mixed reality to manually switch between modes with win-y.
if you switch in the first time.. it passes information clearly. once you switch out and back in you lose that connection.
now the program i am running with voice recog is pokerstars vr. i know you dont support it.. it runs through steam on my system, using an unreal engine.
(recently it stopped working all togeather on the lenovo.. i thought it might be the nihmic audio application that installed, but i disabled that service so it wouldnt run.. and no go..)
All microsoft mixed reality voice commands still work.. but it does NOT pass to the application.

  1. is there a control panel or CLI that i can use to redirect the output for voice commands.

  2. is there a control panel where i can select WHAT i want mixed reality commands to be active

there are many commands availabe with voice in mixed reality. most of which i do NOT use. how can i turn them off.

If i play something like starwars squadrons (i know you dont support other peoples software).. and i am speaking over chat.. if speechrecognition.exe picks up something it believes is a mixed reality command, it will completely crash the game. so the only way to play is to completely disable voice recog.. or alternatively hard silence the mic with a manual switch.

I know it seems like something irrelevent, but i am disabled and having voice command within applications is extremely beneficial to me.

please advise.. i am also posting this to lenovo, and steam. i have previously posted to pokerstars VR support but they are unable to provide any information or solution. .their answer is "it works or it doesnt, we dont know anything about it."

all they know is commands, IF passed to their program, their program will respond.. the know nothing about the actual passing of commands.

please advise.
thanks

PS there is no appropraite tags for mixed reality, vr, speech recognition, cortana
