Migrate Azure AD Domain Services Classic to ARM

Hi All,
I am following the instructions here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory-domain-services/migrate-from-classic-vnet#update-and-verify-virtual-network-settings to prepare the migration of our Classic AD DS to ARM.
Our Classic AD DS in a classic vnet VNDngAzure01 and we already use an ARM vnet for ARM objects.
Currently our classic VNet is connected to the ARM Vnet via a VPN Site-to-site connection. The documentation indicates “Remove existing VPN gateways or virtual network peering configured on the Classic virtual network.”. Can someone confirm that I need to delete the existing VPN Site-to-site connection from Classic VNET to ARM VNet?
Can someone confirm that another peering will be created between the two Vnets during the migration process?
Cheers,
Eric.
