HelpHelpHelp

My MB crashed and I will be replacing it with an identical one. I'll be using the same processor and HD with WIN 7 still loaded on it. (It's my wife's PC and I can't get her to upgrade.) What problems can I expect? Will I have to reactivate WIN 7? Will I have to reload it. Will my MS Office 2010 and other apps still work? Thank you for any advise.

Hi @MikeCompton-1579,

If the motherboard is the same/identical, then the drivers and firmware should be OK and not cause any issues, this is your main concern.
You shouldn't be expecting any problems, except for the new motherboard might have different BIOS, driver & firmware versions than your previous one, but it should still work.

Your applications should work as before.

If the motherboard replacement is of the same make/model or the same manufacturer's replacement/equivalent, as defined by the manufacturer's warranty then you won't have to reactivate.
