Hi @meccameccacourt2org-6920,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.
In order to protect the security of your personal information, please check your post again and hide your personal information.

Looks like you are sending emails to an external email address, in order to confirm if the issue is related to your Outlook desktop client, it is suggested for you to try the same operation via your web mail and see if this issue could be reproduced. Remember to check and ensure that you have entered the correct email address.

Here I have some other questions about your issue:
Are you using Exchange on premise email account or Exchange Online email account?
Does this issue only happen to this specific external email address? Can you successfully send emails to other email address like Outlook.com and Gmail?
Do other people within your organization have the same issue when sending to the same email address?

If everything can work fine on your web mail, as I know, a corrupted Outlook profile can lead this issue, so please try creating and using a new Outlook profile via Control Panel > Mail > Show profile and see if the issue could be resolved.

Any update, please feel free to post back.

I think I have isolated the issue. I access office 365 through my go daddy account and I also put the app on my iphone. When sending from the desktop - no issue but when I send using my iphone and insert my contact list, I get this error message.

Hi @meccameccacourt2org-6920,

Thanks for your reply.

According to your description above, looks like your issue is more related to your mail client on your iPhone, instead of the desktop client. Are you using Outlook for iOS client?

Please kindly understand that the Outlook tag here we mainly focus on general issues about Outlook desktop client and know little about troubleshooting mobile client. Have you ever tried some normal troubleshooting methods like removing and re-adding your email account or re-installing your mobile client to exclude the influence from cached files?

If the issue still continues, in order to better help solve your issue, I would suggest you to post your issue the dedicated forum for Outlook for iOS. The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us. Thanks for your understanding and hope your issue could be resolved soon.

The error happens when I use my cell phone with is an iphone and using the outlook app to send email. Sometimes when I use the web by logging onto godaddy - then access the outlook to send email. I got the same error. This issue just started.

I didn't know where to start and definitely didn't know there is a separate forum for iphone/IOS users.

One of our users has the same problem using Exchange online in the Chrome browser. This problem only occurs related to one specific e-mail address. Do you know any solution?
