i have performance issue with my custom virtual machine which i have created from custom image

I'm creating a virtual machine with a custom image which I have deployed in azure from another VM but now I'm creating a VM out of that custom image is having performance issues such as while creating VM, it's taking 5min time to create and getting running state and also after connecting to VM from RDP its being in a ready state with please wait message for around 10min. so totally it is taking 15-20min time to get VM ready state, so please help me with how to make the VM ready state in less time..

Hi Sai,

Thanks for the post. 15 minutes its reasonable time when creating custom image. sometimes the timeline might get change based on the VM applications inside. so whats the content of custom image (windows or linux) and pre-installed applications ?

Regards,
Dev

Hi Sai, have you tried creating custom image with different image just to isolate the factors - is it possible for you to do ?
