Hi @VinodSurvase-1595

If you want to prevent the user to download files from Teams, you could do some setting before upload the files to Microsoft Teams client. After having the file in the chat you can just click on the text to open sharing options. Then you can choose to disable Editing, limit editing with a review mode and if you don’t allow editing you can Block download. For more details about steps, you could learn from this blog.

Hi @JimmyYang-MSFT , Thanks for your reply. Could you please let me know is there any setting or policy from Teams admin center or PowerShell by creating we can implement or apply via PowerShell? If yes do let me know that would be great help

There is no way to restrict users to download all data in Teams client using Teams admin center or PowerShell. But there are a variety of ways that you can limit sharing in Microsoft 365 to meet the needs of your organization. For example, admin can encrypt files by using sensitivity labels to prevent them being shared with unauthorized people. For more details about limit sharing, you could refer to the list in this article.
