Network sharing

I am running a peer to peer win 10 network. I have one of my computers (A) that can access the other (B) through explorer, but when I try to save to that computer (B) I cannot find it in my network folder. What am I missing? I can open any file off of (B) from (A) and all of my permissions appear good.

Thank you,
John

Hello @JohnB-7871,

Despite your efforts to be clear about the problem, I am still a bit confused. This is what I have understood:

  • Computer A can access computer B (through Windows File Explorer).

  • When computer A tries (or just wants?) to save a file to computer B, computer A does not show computer B in the "network folder" (of Windows File Explorer?).

Thank you Gary for taking the time to respond. I was able to solve the problem.
The Net Man setting was off and not set to automatic start in Services. Also, I didn't check the Turn on automatic setup of network connected devices in the Advanced sharing settings.
Things appear to be working fine for the past hour now.
