Exchange 2016 cu21 preparead question

I was going to upgrade from cu19 to cu21, but found our backup exec doesn't support cu21. I already prepared AD and schema by using CU21.
If I am going to install CU20, should I prepare AD and schema again by using cu20?

No, you can't go back. However, you will be able to install CU20 on the Exchange Server even if the AD forest is at CU21 schema.

Hi @JosephHuang-6303,

Agree with Andy.

I tried the same test as yours in my Exchange 2016 CU19, prepared AD and schema by using CU21, then install CU20, seems everything just work fine yet.
