SharePoint - S2P search issue

Hi Team,

There is an issue with the search service not working in Nike S2P based on SharePoint.
We are experiencing difficulties at work and need a solution.
I tried the method listed here on the website, but it didn't work.
Could you please check on the search issue?

First, please make sure whether perform the search crawling in SharePoint. If not, please start a crawling.

If after performing the crawl, you still cannot search results. Please perform the following troubleshooting:

1.Check whether list items are allowed to be searched.Please enable the "Allow items from this list to appear in search results" and start crawling again.

  • List settings >> Advanced settings >> enable "Allow items from this list to appear in search results" option

2.Please make sure whether the item that you want to search can be displayed in this view. For example:

  • If I search "Project1" in the "Admin" view, it will show that "Your search returned no results".

  • However, when I search for "Project1" in the "All Items" view, it ok.

Thanks for the detailed and kindly explanation.

If I search "Project1" in the "Admin" view, it will show that "Your search returned no results".

-> could you let me know why the search in "Admin view" doesn't show any results?
This question is asked because the search is primarily used in "Admin view".

As shown in my screenshot, "Project1" is not included in "Admin" view.

This is because I set the Filter in the "Admin" view, which only displays the items whose Submitter is spsetup. However, the Submitter of "Project1" is echo (another user), so it does not meet the requirements of the filter, so it will not be displayed.

Since "Project1" not be displayed in the "Admin" view, you cannot search for it in the "Admin" view.

Hi echo,

Thanks for your reply.

I've done the setup as you said, but I'm still having problems with the search.
To be precise, some of the fields displayed in the view are searchable and some are not.
And I have Admin view permission so I can see the list of all forms.

For example, if I search for a form title in the admin view, no results are found.

Please help me determine the following:

1.You have Full Control permissions

2.Before searching item, you can see the item in the Admin view.

3."Showroom disinfeciton for SPA" belongs to the "Title" column.

Yes, In summary what you answered is correct.
and we are using the search on all columns, not just the Title column.

Please check if the item was successfully crawled. If this item is not successfully crawled, please re-crawl it or start full crawl.

Please following steps:

1.Open SharePoint Central Administration as an admin

2.Application Management >> (Service Applications) Manage service applications

3.On the Manage Service Applications page, click on the Search Service Application

4.On the Search Administration page, click on (Diagnostics) Crawl Log

5.On the Crawl Log Content Source page, go to Crawl History tab. Then, click on the recent crawl log.

6.On the Crawl Log URL page, you can type a URL or host name

7.Click on Search button, you can get the relevant crawled items
