@HarshaRatnayaka-8891 Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

For this issue, I have done a lot of research. I find that someone has met this similar issue.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Intune/comments/nxo33g/esp_hangs_when_installing_microsoft_365_apps/
Note: Non-Microsoft link, just for the reference.

And he solved this issue when he packaged an Office 365 installation as a win32 app. Just as Nick said. We can refer to the following link to deploy office 365 as a win32 app:
https://campbell.scot/deploying-office-365-with-intune-as-a-win32-app/
Note: Non-Microsoft link, just for the reference.

If we deploy the win32 app, please make sure we don't mix the installation of Win32 apps and line-of-business apps. If we mix, the app installation may fail.

Hope the above information will help.

@HarshaRatnayaka-8891 Thanks for your response.

Please click on "See past incidents/advisories" and it will access the Microsoft 365 admin center. Then click the Service health > History > Microsoft intune to check if there is some information about this IT number.

Is this using the built-in Office 365 app? Some people prefer to package Office up as a Win32 app, which can work better and not timeout. Have you tested that?

yes its a built in app , have not tried win32 app. Just not sure why this happens now after we deployed so many laptops.

Are you targeting anything else apart from apps to the autopilot dynamic device group?

Yes few configuration policies and 1 administrative template

That doesn’t sound a lot. I normally target all configuration, scripts, update ring policies to user based group to cut down on the execution time in Device setup phase. ESP works happily in such an arrangement. Is your issue fixed? I noticed you marked an earlier response as the answer.

The issue is still ongoing, yes there is not much happening. When i get some time will need to do win32 app method but currently did not get a chance.
