Errors when trying opening and building the default Power Query SDK data connector

Hi All

I have just installed the Power Query SDK extension for Visual Studio 2019

If i create a new project, the default code shows an error

even though the function is clearly defined

If i try and build the project as it is, i get all sorts of error messages in the build output window

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the extension. I have also repaired my Visual Studio install. Nothing has worked.

Any ideas as to what is going on?

(On a previous laptop, i had this extension installed with VS2019 and everything worked fine.)

Up to 10 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 3.0 MiB each and 30.0 MiB total.

cCould it be that you're trying to build excluding some files? I'm not entirely sure what could go wrong, but the "first" image is somewhat normal. It happens even when your connector is completely fine. The compiling situation is what's arguably odd.

As Miguel said, the first error is expected. The second error is not. Is it possible there's something wrong with your VS installation? Have you tried a Repair operation?
