Federation between Gov cloud resource with commercial cloud AAD

Hi Team,

We have Azure AD Gov Cloud which has SharePoint VM and we have one commercial cloud.

We want to know whether a SharePoint web application hosted on Azure Gov cloud can be federated with Azure AD located in the Azure Commercial cloud?

    Hi,

    From my memory with one of my previous projects, the identity entity model for commercial and gov are different. It cant be federated.

    Not sure if there are any recent update. I couldnt find any related MS articles.
