Visual Studio 2019 won't start

My VS installation broke randomly, so I attempted to uninstall and reinstall. Now the app only start when I choose "Run as administrator". It doesn't work for my regular account nor more administration account unless I use "Run as administrator". All other cases lead to the following errors:

I've attempted many fixes for the issue, none of which have worked. Including the suggested devenv /resetsettings. The same errors appear.122815-activitylog.xml122805-activitylog.xml

I've attached the log file as well.

Hi @Devinaustin112-0619

Thank you for reporting it in Microsoft Q&A.

Please try to follow this steps:

  1. Close all instances of Visual Studio.

  2. Delete all files in this folder: C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\VisualStudio\16.0\ComponentModelCache.

  3. Restart Visual Studio.

Sincerely,
Peng

Hi @PengGe-MSFT ,

Thank you for your response.

There is no ComponentModelCache folder for my user (top), however there is for my admin account (bottom)
