Update download bandwidth limit

I'm using Configuration Manager 2103.
Due to auto-deployment rules, we regularly download updates from Microsoft Update.

At that time, if you download a large update program,
There is concern about the load on the corporate network.

The setting to limit the bandwidth of inbound communication of download is
Is it in Configuration Manager?

If not, is it installed as a function of Windows Server?

I would be grateful if you could help me with the above.

There's no way to throttle this in ConfigMgr.

Assuming you could though, what would your threshold be here?

Also, to be clear, you are simply referring to the initial update file download from Microsoft by the site itself, correct?

Currently, there is no threshold.
We will consult with you in consideration of the situation of the customer's internal network.

Yes, as you know, it's right.

So, if you don't have a threshold, why is there a concern? Each month will certainly vary, but it's not like it's 100's of GB in a short time span. Aren't they already downloading the updates using whatever tool they currently deploy updates with?

Not to mention that there is P2P option (Delivery Optimization) that is default enabled for Windows Update (Win10+ or Win2016+), even if your company don't use WSUS.

There will be at most a few copies of each update downloaded on some machines, then be propagated through the intranet locally.
