Azure Migrate Appliance impact on profiled servers.

Hello everyone, I have a pretty big issue, about the impact of appliance injected in to on-premise server.

I am planning to install Azure migrate appliance in to on-premise server, getting the information about
dependencies of workload.

So, I kind of searched about this Impact for server, but Docs just says Appliance is light software, so it will not give us a big issue.
But, I want to know specific interval, loading effect, and the authority to get data(Metadata, Performance Data, Software Inventory Data, Operating System Data, Dependency Data) every one of them from server.

Is there any way to get these information?
please reply me back.

Thanks.

Hello. thanks for replying.
I already read the common questions you wrote.

That is not a specific answers that I am looking for.
Can you give me some more specific information about the usage of Azure Migrate?
This could be sensitive but if you let me know this issue,
it could get rid of the risk. That "profilling has almost no performance" is not quantified.

thanks

Hi, from my experience, I observed 5-10 % of CPU and Memory increase due to poll in sometimes. But Its not always.
I I found this using monitoring tool data. You cant get very specific answers when it comes to performance factors, it changes based on environment.

@bakoo-7292 - The information has been documented in the following sections of the documentation:

Metadata collected: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/migrate/migrate-appliance#collected-data---vmware
Data collection frequency: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/migrate/migrate-appliance-architecture#discovery-and-collection-process
Permissions needed: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/migrate/migrate-support-matrix-vmware#vmware-requirements

As for the impact of discovery and assessment, we do not have this documented but we have tested internally and there is almost no impact of data collection on the source environment.

As @Dev073 mentioned there could be an increase of 5-10 % of CPU and Memory but no always.
