Virus in VM

Can virus on my virtual machine (installed in Hyper-V) can affect my host machine too ?

Kind of a vague question but it's unlikely but certainly is a possibility via the network (depends on how the virus works), etc.

Hi DSPatrick

I have Windows 7 install in Hyper-V it has viruses and malware on it and I was willing to know that if malware and virus can attack my host machine (Windows 10) also.

Its certainly is a possibility via the network (it depends on how the virus works), etc.
