Outlook for Mac - Move calendar events from olm file import to main calendar folder

I have recently transferred my Office 365 subscription from GoDaddy to Microsoft and I had to start my Microsoft applications from scratch as Microsoft cannot take the active profile to their systems. I have backed my data to an olm file successfully before deleting my subscriptions from GoDaddy and purchasing the new subscriptions from Microsoft. All has been linked up correctly and I have been able to copy and paste my emails and contacts to the main folders from the olm file with the exception of my calendar.

Could someone please advise on the process to copy the calendar events from the olm file to the main calendar in Outlook. I do not want to use a calendar folder in My Computer as it is not efficient. Simplicity is best by only having the main calendar folder for my events that related to the same source of business.

Thanking you in advance.

Regards
Chris

Hi @ChrisArancibia-7521,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

Based on my tests, I'm afraid that the behavior "copy and paste calendars from olm file to the main folders" is indeed not supported yet in Outlook for Mac. I tried a lot of research about that but failed to found any useful workaround.

If you do still would like this feature, you could try to submit your feedback to Microsoft and hope Microsoft may notice it and add it in the later version.

Thanks @JeffYang-MSFT
It's ever so frustrating to have a software where it behaves differently in Windows and Mac considering both systems are now quite common, and yet still paying similar prices on both platforms. Are you aware of any workaround?

PS - I don't even have the option to provide feedback

Hi @ChrisArancibia-7521,

Sorry for the inconvenience to you. I do tried a lot of tests but failed to find one available workaround.

In some similar cases, users can add their Exchange email accounts to Outlook for windows to finish the copy behavior and then calendar items would be synced to Outlook for Mac. However, considering that you have already deleted subscriptions from GoDaddy, this workaround might not be suitable to your condition.

For the feedback option, please check if you are using the new Outlook for Mac. You might need to switch the new Outlook for Mac first before achieving that.
