Difference between Anonymous and All domains

In the Exchange admin center under Organization and Sharing, I'm looking at the Default Sharing Policy and would like to know what the difference is between using Anonymous and Sharing with all domains. I checked the docs and it didn't seem to explain it. Does anyone know?

This policy allows users in your Exchange organization to invite users with Internet access to view their calendar availability information by sending them a link

This is versus sharing the calendar directly.

So the Anonymous option allows you so send a link but the all domains option doesn't? I'm using the Outlook desktop app and when I tap the Share Calendar option, I can add a recipient on the permission tab but it doesn't seem to have a link option.

Hi @dodoc-1307,

Tried some research but failed to find any documents explained the difference. Based on my experience, Anonymous here might refer to all the unauthenticated domains while All domains here might refer to all the Accepted domain.

Generally anonymous domains are non-Exhcange/Non Office 365 orgs.

The option to share with all domains and specifying domains must only work for Exchange and O365 addresses because it doesn't let me share with a random email address even though you could consider that a domain. Do they mean AD Domains? I tried from the app and web. I will put anonymous back in to see if that helps.

It really isn't very intuitive. Share with all domains sounds like it would work. Nobody would think to hit share with specific domain and type Anonymous unless they still have the default to look at or read the docs.
