Teams Phone integration

Hello

I hope this has not already been answered

  1. We currently have an Avaya IP Office solution and ATT is our phone provider

  2. We have O365 A3

a. With our current setup if we allowed teams to connect via the ATT SBC can we make and receive calls in teams and with our current Avaya Workplace app and our Avaya SIP and H.323 phones or do we have to upgrade to O365 A5?
b. If this is possible what would it take?

i. We are working to implement an E911 solution (red sky or SentryNG911) do these work in a hybrid environment with teams?
ii. How much is the extra cost to use teams exclusively as an E911 solution and does it have to be intrado for teams?

I saw this document
http://images.insight.intrado.com/Web/Intrado/%7Bf06eab7f-00d9-4de7-b3b1-5173b9239f64%7D_191028AR-DOC-05-BR-E911-for-MSFT-Teams.pdf

We have about 900 Users
200 capable of using the softphone component in avaya

We have a contract with Avaya for the next three years so we would like a hybrid solution for the time being and when we terminate our avaya contract we would like to move fully to using teams as our PBX

Answer: Teams Integrated with SBC can make an inbound and outbound call to PSTN or Avaya. And i don't think you need to upgrade to E5(MS don't have A5), just buy the phone system license.
The following SBC is needed. And you need to confirm the SIP signaling fornat between MS and Avaya.
Avaya Avaya Session Border Controller for Enterprise ( ASBCE) ✔ ✔ Release 8.1.1 (8.1.2 for Media Bypass)

Correct:
Sorry for my mistake, MS has education A3, if you wanna voice features, you need to buy the following license.

For schools and other academic organizations, you have three ways to get voice features.

Buy an EDU A1 or A3 plan and Microsoft 365 Business Voice.
Buy an EDU A1 or A3 plan and add voice features individually.
Buy an EDU A5 plan, which includes voice features.

Thanks.

Hi @BrandonLitchfield

You could upgrade the license to A5 including voice features or buy the add-on license to get the voice features. The following picture shows three ways to get voice features for your reference:
