MS Access Making any changes to form results in it no longer working

Hello! I have a form I use in a Microsoft Access database. One very strange issue with it however has been that if I ever make any change whatsoever to the form in design view, that it no longer seems to work. The way this form generally works is that I click on a button that results in the form appearing. However this is no longer the case when I make any sort of edit. I've tested the form and found that even if I make the most simple of edits such as adding any character to the end of a line that is commented out, that the form no longer pops up when I press it's button.

At this point I don't really have any idea what is happening and would love any suggestions. I've never found this issue to occur with any of the other forms that are a part of this database. Thanks in advanced!

Try replacing the form from a good backup.

I tried this with the oldest backup I could find but this issue seems to have been around for a while. The form works fine, it just seems that I am unable to make any changes to it without issues.

The next steps I might try are:

  1. Do a C&R

  2. Decompile the project

  3. Import all objects into a brand new database file

  4. Save the form as Text and then import it back in

Hope that helps...
