Azure Kinect DK cameras failed to open in the Azure Kinect Viewer?

Hi All,

I have been using the Azure Kinect DK for a long time but today all the cameras failed to open in the Azure Kinect Viewer.

I am getting the following messages pop up when connecting:

IMU failed: timed out!
IMU Data: data source failed!
Camera failed : timed out!

The Log view shows the below error :

[error] : usb_cmd_libusb_cb(). LibUSB transfer status of 00000002 unexpected

I am using the Azure Kinect SDK v1.4.1 and the firmware version (1.6.110079014). I have tried different USB ports on my pc but still, I am getting the above errors.

Can anyone please provide a solution for these errors?

Thanks in advance.

@UnityQueries-6892 it seems odd that all your cameras fail at the same time.

Can you please test with a different cable?
Can you please test on a different PC?

Hello @UnityQueries-6892 I hope the below information may be useful

Depth images travel over a USB Bulk end point. Traffic on USB bulk end points is shared with other traffic. You may have extra traffic over USB taking away bandwidth so try to minimize other USB activity while using 2 cameras or run at a lower resolution while troubleshooting.
You may have a PC that is not quite powerful enough to keep up with the USB performance, https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/Kinect-dk/system-requirements#minimum-host-pc-hardware-requirements.

Ref Link Github

  1. Could you please attach the Type of USB controllers you are using?

  2. See "USB3 host controller compatibility" on this page https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/Kinect-dk/troubleshooting

  3. Is your graphic card not meeting the needed performance?

  4. Make sure you try all USB 3.X ports as they are not always equal.

  5. Your USB cable may be faulty, looks like you have it working earlier, changing the USB cable may be helpful!!!

Please comment in the below section for help in this matter.
