VS 2019 Reserved App Name Not Showing in Associate App With Store

Hello,

I uploaded a beta version of my app to the store using a reserved name (i.e. Product1). This app was published, albeit it private with a link only.

I would now like release the final version so have created a new reserved name (i.e. Product2) and this is selected as default in the partner centre.

But when I run the Associate App with Store process in Visual Studio, it only shows Product1 with Product2 nowhere to be seen.

This does not seem correct to me. I'm not changing the package name, only the reserved app name.

It sounds similar to the issue reported here...

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/387398/vs-2019-not-loading-uwp-app-name-reservation.html

I'm using VS 16.11.1 (the latest) and have signed out of my dev account (in VS) then back in again.

Any help would be much appreciated as I do not want to publish under the products beta name.

Kind regards
David

Up to 10 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 3.0 MiB each and 30.0 MiB total.

Could you please try this on other devices? And if that does not work, could you please try on other networks?

Hi Roy,

Thanks for the reply.

Sorry but this is the only dev machine that I have. It's a fairly clean Win 10 & VS 2019 install fwiw.

As for the network, same. But I don't see how changing the network would somehow make the reserved store name appear in VS.

Kind regards
David

OK, could you please check the status of your developer account in Partner Center? If it is active, then you might still need to find another device to check if the issue is related to your network or Visual Studio.
