Can I mass import new, specific passwords for Office365/AzureAD accounts?

Hi everyone.

I have been given an excel file of the user accounts and what their new, unique passwords should be set to. Is there any way for me to mass import/update passwords for these users? These accounts already exist and I cannot create new ones.

Thank you.

Hi @RD-4659 , there isn't a way to do this because this is not a good practice for privacy. Storing passwords in an excel document has security implications as well as you having access to your users passwords. What I suggest doing for this is setting up Self Service Password Reset so your users can reset their own passwords. Please let me know if you have any questions!

Best,
James

I agree with everything you said and appreciate the link to SSPR. Unfortunately these are circumstances given to me by my employer due to the users being young students on a school device. Thank you :)
