About Azure Active Directory And App Center

Hi Dears;

I have some questions about App Center:

1- How many different App Centers that we can add to same Azure Active Directory ? We want to distribute different mobile apps for different users from different App Centers.
2- If we can add only 1 App Center to same Azure Active Directory, can we change app groups for different user groups ? Like these users can use these apps, these users must not use these apps, but apps all in the same App Center.
3- What are other options for distribute internal apps to users from Microsoft365 for mobile devices ? We want to make internal mobile apps available for downloading for some users. We think App Center is best option, but we want to learn other options too.

Thank you very much..

@MehmetCneytDurgun-2258 ,

Thank you for your query. Currently app center product is not supported on the QnA forums as it provides a way for all customers to reach out for support using email from within app center portal . However I will try to answer this query to the best of my knowledge. I am assuming that you mean app center organization when you say "app center"

  1. I was not able to find a limit on the number of app center organization's you can add but I tried creating two different app center organizations and adding same Azure AD instance to both of them and I was able to add it . There could be multiple application teams within your Company and each can create their own App center org and publish apps . Each of these org can e connected to either same Azure active directory or different azure AD .

  2. I think you can setup groups but I am not sure about your query as I do not have the experience around publishing the apps. I think it may be possible to map different groups for apps but I would suggest to check with support.

  3. You can use Intune company portal for distributing the same as you mentioned that you have M365 licenses . the same. If you are developing custom apps in-house then surely app center is the best option as far as I can think . You can distribute to Intune company portal from within app center as well .

As I am not an expert on app center, I would suggest you to use the app center free support option as mentioned below.

You can use it next week as they do not work on weekends. you can get more clarity on Monday . You can click the help menu (?) in the upper right corner of the App Center portal, then select Contact support.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/appcenter/help Once you fill out the form, someone from the team will be in contact with you via email. Responsiveness might vary as per the current support load at that time and it may take time . If you have a premier support then you can file a call where you can get a callback from the support team as per defined SLAs.

If the information is helpful , please do accept the same as answer as it may help other members of the community searching for similar queries.

Thank you.
