SSO using SAML from MS Office via Google IdP

Hello,

My application uses SSO using SAML and Google acts as IdP. The access with SSO works fine in a browser, you just need to authenticate on Google login form.
Now I have a new requirement, SSO should work also for files opened directly from MS Office apps (Word or Excel).
So I should get login screen directly in Office app. AFAIK, there is embedded Internet Explorer that renders the login form.

In my case, the login form disappears within 1 second with message "Your organization's policies are preventing us from completing this action for you." - That can be seen for Word.

For Excel, I can see login form but the form is unclickable so I cannot log in.

Do you have any idea what could be a problem?
Is it possible to use Microsoft Office and Google as IdP?

Br,
Filip
