Azure Ad >> ServiceNow User & Group Provisioning Service

Hello all,

We're in the process of setting up SSO and User / Group provisioning for our ServiceNow application through an integration with Azure AD.
We're using the documents here:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/saas-apps/servicenow-tutorial

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/saas-apps/servicenow-provisioning-tutorial

We have the SSO and User Provisioning working in our ServiceNow DEV instance, but we're not able to get user groups (and user group membership) to come across from Azure. Has anyone out there got this set up and working, and any thoughts on where we might be going wrong?

Thanks

Jamie

We have a lot of customers using this integration for both users and groups. Are you seeing any skip/error messages in the Azure AD logs? Your post doesn't have enough details to provide any specific guidance.

Hi again,
There were many skip messages in the Azure AD logs. We removed the scoping filter for the groups (so that ALL groups would be included) and that has fixed the issue for now. Groups and users are going across to ServiceNow. That said, we were not able to see why the original scoping filter was returning FALSE for our test group. I'll leave this question open for now, as we'll be doing some more testing in the next few days. If we have issues again I will provide more information. If all goes well, I will update and close this thread.

Thanks for the response. I'll check with a colleague re the logs (I'm on the ServiceNow side of the equation, and he's on the Azure side). I will report back shortly!
