MFA authenticator app for pc?

IS there a mfa app we can use on a computer for users that cannot install apps on their phones?

Is there a 3rd party app that can be installed on a pc and will work with mfa authentication? Please let me know, thanks.

We use mfa authentication for our terminal servers.

Thanks

Hi @HenryNiekoop-2622 ,

as far as I know the Microsoft Authenticator app is only available for mobile devices:

So no way users without a smart phone will be able to authenticate through mfa? This is very disappointing.

Andreas said that the Microsoft Authenticator app is only available for mobile devices. That is not the same as "Users without a smart phone will not be able to authenticate with MFA".

Take a look at Windows Hello for Business, which leverages the TPM chip in a computer in addition to a pin and/or biometrics. Alternatively take a look at FIDO2 keys as a way for the user to sign in to Windows (think of them as portable Windows Hello for Business), or OATH hardware tokens that generate a code for MFA and do not require any sort of internet connection/data connection. There are always the classics as well such as SMS for code delivery.
