Hi All, this might have been asked elsewhere, so apologises.
Being the IT person at our office, and we have now gone into stay at home orders, i was trying to figure out how to get our staff working remotely. I have 2 rds servers, rds01 and rds02 (for example) rds01 is the licensing, gateway, etc all in one, and rds02 is just a session host. I have all the licenses and such configured. The reason for 2 servers is my inability to figure out how to allow Adobe Reader, and Adobe Pro to co exist, as we have limited licenses for that. So one server runs adobe reader and other apps, and the second runs adobe pro and the same other apps.
My question is how do i ultilise the gateway to connect to the second server? if i use the original rds01, and the fqdn is publicly resolveable it connects fine. if i try to use the second server rds02 fqdn, (which i even added an A record to our public dns) and i have configured the gateway to point to rds1, it wont connect, it will sit at initilazing then says it cant connect. I am at home, connecting externally, it all works fine internally of course.
Maybe i am overcomplicating this, due to my lack of experience. if someone could point me in the right direction i would appreciate it.
Thanks
