Hi,
I'm slowly losing the plot...wandering if someone can help.
I had a nice stable network of 50 odd PC's after upgrading all of the desktops to HP 600 Mini G6 and laptops HP Elitebook 840 G7.
I decided to enable Windows Updates for all of the network, this caused a both laptops and desktops to start freezing.
I have got down to booting the PC's with only Microsoft services using MSConfig, no AV, cut down performance options.
This is mostly working, still getting random black screen flickers with a network drop out.
The small network drop out breaks 3CX and Magic XPS.
Also have a fun issue if Snip & Sketch also freezing some users or at least making them pause for a second.
I've run through sfc /scan, all the DISM rebuilds and checks, my own laptop does not have this issue...
There are no Event log errors, I spoken to HP who said to talk to MS.
I have spoken to MS, but only asked me to run MS Config and remove anything none MS.
All computers are built exactly the same, same software, same specs, some have problems, some don't.
Memory Dumps are useless because there are no event log errors, so reliability monitors just says that the PC was forced restarted.
All Windows Updates have been installed, all driver updates have been installed, all firmware updates have been installed.
I used to be able to restore the devices back to before I started Windows Updates, but now even that doesn't fix it...
Help?
Thanks...
