How to apply role for KPIs on SSAS Tabular Model

Hi,
I have a problem with applying roles for KPIs on SSAS Tabular Model, I created some KPIs but I cant set any roles for them so everyone can see them when they connect to the model using excel even apply "Hide From Client Tools" option. How can I manage this?

Hi @CarrinWu-MSFT, as you mentioned, it doesn't possible to hide KPIs. After all I decided to create my KPIs in presentation layer and my targets were secured with this solution.
Thanks again for you contribution.

Hi @ShahabAbdollahzadeh-6175,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

It seems that you cannot hide KPIs in SSAS tabular model. Please refer to this thread:

And I made test, only the measures can be hidden in Excel:

Here has a workaround maybe can help you to resolve this, please refer to this link:

Thank you in advance for your contribution, let me explain more about my problem.

Users can connect to my SSAS Tabular Model via an odbc connection in an excel sheet to create custom reports by using a pivot table. So I don't want to all users access to the KPIs, even if I restrict them to access measures which used in KPIs, they still can access KPIs value in their pivot table as you see in first image. How can I handle this issue?
If I use perspective, how can I give the exact perspective permission to the related users? Or if I should create new model without KPIs so how can I do this?

Hi @ShahabAbdollahzadeh-6175, thank you for your rely. I know you would like to hide KPIs in Excel for specific users. But based on my research and test, the KPIs cannot hide from client tools, only the measures and tables can be hided. And I tried to implement Dynamic Security by Using Row Filters, but it also does not work for KPIs. But I am not sure for it.
