Hi,

Kindly try to unbind and rebind the domain, which will renew the certificate automatically.

• First run and complete the anywhere access wizard to release the domain.
  

• Then re-run the setup wizard after a few minutes and setup the new domain, which you were using previously.
  

• Follow the wizard though and it should set everything back up again.

That answer is NOT correct...

You never want to "release" your Microsoft personalized domain name seeing as doing so will cause you to lose the domain name from your Microsoft account (i.e. it will return back to the pool of available domain names, and you risk not ever being able to get it back again!). Rather, you should just choose the option to create a new domain name instead, and then when you sign in to your Microsoft account, the wizard will show you a drop-down list with all of your existing personalized domain names in it (since each Microsoft account can be associated with up to five personalized domain names), and you can then just choose your existing domain name from that drop-down list and then continue on with the wizard.

That being said... None of this will help you right now seeing as there is a REALLY NASTY BUG going on over on Microsoft's end right now where the wizard will just fail with a "An unknown error occurred. Please wait a few minutes, and then try again." error message when attempting to sign in to your Microsoft account. This problem needs to be fixed by Microsoft ASAP!!!

[soapbox on] It's really sad how absolutely horrible Microsoft treats all of their small business/home office customers now. If you don't want to move to their Azure cloud services, then MICROSOFT DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOU!

Windows Server 2016 (Essentials or Standard/Datacenter with the Windows Server Essentials Experience server role added) is fully supported until January, 12, 2027, but Microsoft just doesn't seem to care one iota about that. They have completely abandoned their Essentials line of products now (even though they're still fully supported for many years to come), and it takes them months (or even years in some cases) to fix any issues that happen to affect it (or, in this case, that they themselves have blatantly broken!). This particular bug (that's affecting thousands upon thousands of Essentials customers worldwide) has been broken since last Friday, and Microsoft has still yet to even acknowledge the problem publicly that I am aware of, let alone properly fix it. UGH! I'm really starting to understand why everyone is moving to alternative solutions. It's really quite sad to see. ;-( [soapbox off]

RE: remotewebaccess.com domains are not responding!

EDIT: I've just retried the Anywhere Access set up again and the wizard now (finally) seems to be working once again. I was able to successfully sign in to my Microsoft account and create a new Microsoft personalized domain name. Therefore, it looks like Microsoft has stepped up and fixed this one and folks should be back on track again.
