We have one primary site server and two remote distribution points. They both worked for years until about April or May when one of them stopped downloading packages from the primary. The other one continues to work fine today. I've tried removing the DP role from the server and deleting the SMS_DP$ folder, restarting and redeploying the application and software updates to no avail.
What we see in monitoring is:
1:31:05.417 AM
Package Transfer Manager failed to update the package "YEG0010B", Version 1 on distribution point SERVER1.INTERNAL.LOCAL. Review PkgXferMgr.log for more information about this failure.
So when I check the PkgXferMgr.log at that time I see this:
Pull DP Sending thread starting for Job: 34826, package: YEG0010B, Version: 1, Priority: 2, server: SERVER1.INTERNAL.LOCAL, DPPriority: 200
PullDP query result failed. Failure count = 2/30, Restart time = 8/25/2021 1:51:05 AM -0600

Which doesn't help or at least I can't see how it does. This isn't the only event, we see this event in the logs for all of the packages.
