Mailstore Gateway VM not receiving Emails from Microsoft 365 Exchange

Hello,

I have installed a Mailstore Gateway on a Windows 10 VM in Azure. This Azure VM should Collect all Incoming (not outgoing) Emails from Journaling in Microsoft Exchange 365.

All incoming Traffic from any Mailserver is working, when we try to send an Email from Microsoft 365 Exchange Server (Any Exchange Server hostet by Microsoft) the Email is not recieved. Is there some rule preventing Microsoft 365 Azure to recieve Emails from Microsoft 365 Exchange?
Pop3 Connection and SMTP Connection from any other source are working just fine, but we need it to work from Exchange 365.

Thank you very much for your support.

Hi @Mayk-6706

when we try to send an Email from Microsoft 365 Exchange Server (Any Exchange Server hostet by Microsoft) the Email is not recieved.

Did you mean if sending from any mailboxes hosted by Microsoft 365, the emails will fail to be delivered?
If it is the case, did you receive any NDR messages? Which would indicate the delivery failed and the reason why it failed.
If any, please post the detailed information of the NDR messages.

Thanks in advance for your update.

Hi @KaelYao-MSFT ,

Yes that is correct. all other seem to work.

This is the message I get:

This message was created automatically by email delivery software.
A message that you sent has not yet been delivered to one or more of its recipients after more than 6 hours.
Message sent on 8/26/2021 10:32:41 AM
Subject: test
Message-Id: <@PAXPR05MB8224.eurprd05.prod.outlook.com>
Sender: myemail@email.de
The affected recipients are:
reciepientemail@email.de - 450 4.4.2 Connection failed
No action is required on your part. Delivery attempts will continue for some time, and this warning may be repeated at intervals if the message remains undelivered. Eventually the email delivery software will give up, and when that happens, the message will be returned to you.

Hello @KaelYao-MSFT ,

I have found another non Microsoft Domain not able to send to the Server. So the "Microsoft" error is out of the question right now. I have used a self signed Certificate, my guess is that not all server like to send with 465 or 587 if the Certificate is not good.

I will buy a Certificate and update after that. Still thank you for your reply.
