SharePoint Online Testing for List & Library

Hello Folks,

I have got a requirement to do some Load Testing and measure performance for each SharePoint Online Site.

For example, create few items with heavy attachments - upload few documents into document library, etc.

I thought of using Web Performance and Load Test Project of Visual Studio however I am not sure how to automate it, can you help here.

or any other pointer would be appreciated as well.

    Load testing is not recommended nor supported for SharePoint Online.

    You can use https://connectivity.office.com to measure performance to SharePoint Online from a local client.

    Agree with trevorseward.

    According to this article, "since load-testing is not permitted on SharePoint Online. SharePoint Online is a cloud service and the load capabilities, health and overall balance of load in the service is managed by Microsoft."
