Why do you click that option if it bothers you?
What behaviour do you expect?
I click it to create function body in source file but I do NOT want show me the create code on new window! I check it later myself!
I am not sure if it is possible to create the empty definition without showing the result.
I know that if you want to continue creating the definition, you can type the code in the popup window or you can maximise the window using <Ctrl+Alt+Home> or clicking the button near the “DownloadCode.cpp*”. If you do not want to continue creating the definition, you can close the popup or press <Esc>.
Hi @drjackool-3839 ,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!
Do you mean that you don’t want to open the source file as a inline editor?
If so, you can view the similar issue:

It has been reported to product team, you can also add your comments to track the process.
Thank you for helping us build a better Visual Studio!

Anna
