Front Door Premium Custom Domain Validation

Custom domains are currently not validating for me, refreshing the validation status is just coming back with: "Please refresh status after above verification challenge is completed."

It's been over 24 hours since adding the records, I can see them on mxtoolbox and other DNS viewers so it isn't a propagation problem - Front Door will not validate them. The records are 100% correct:
Host: _dnsauth.www
TTL: 1 Hour

I have 90 domains added pending validation with this problem

Is anybody else having issues at the moment or know how to get them validated?

Apologies i didn't get back to you. I've created a ticket and am waiting to hear back from support. Some domains have started to verify after 72 hours on Front Door but the AppServices is still verifying within a few minutes :-)

If the TXT value is correctly configured and the validation state is still pending for more than 24 hours, the internal process for the support team is to reach out to DigiCert for further assistance on the domain validation. So, if you have a support plan, I request you file a support ticket, else please do let us know, we will try and help you get a one-time free technical support.

Hi Gita,

First of all I'm very disappointed with your Azure Front door team the reason being why there is not evidence or proper logs for the cause showing the custom domain pending ?I'm also facing same issue its been more then 8 hours waiting something to happen despite creating txt records.

Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

You can find the table for the domain validation state, it's description and recommended action in the below doc:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/frontdoor/standard-premium/how-to-add-custom-domain#domain-validation-state

Per your screenshot, your domain state shows "pending", which has the below description and recommended action:
A domain goes to pending state once the DNS TXT record challenge is generated. Please add the DNS TXT record to your DNS provider and wait for the validation to complete. If it is in ‘Pending’ even after the TXT record is updated in the DNS provider, please try to click ‘Regenerate’ to refresh the TXT record and add the TXT record to your DNS provider again.

NOTE:
If the Regenerate button doesn't work, delete and recreate the domain.
If the domain state doesn't reflect as expected, select the Refresh button.

I would request you to try the above recommended actions and check again. If it still doesn't work, we need to engage the support team to contact DigiCert for further assistance on the domain validation. So, if you have a support plan, I request you file a support ticket, else please do let us know, we will try and help you get a one-time free technical support.
