RDCMan blocks Copy / Paste

I have been having issues for a week now where when I run RDCMan I am unable to copy and paste. If I close the program, I can copy and paste. This happens with both the keyboard and right-click where I can click on copy but paste is grey-out.
With RDCMan running, I am unable to copy/paste on my local machine, even from within the same program i.e notepad -> notepad. The second I close the program, it works again.
I had an older version 2.7(?) and upgraded to 2.83 with no luck.
I did a full uninstall of the older version, deleted the folders from my user profile AppData\Local\Microsoft\Remote Desktop Connection Manager\ and from C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Remote Desktop Connection Manager\
Rebooted
Ran the new 2.83 exe, which didn't do an install, it just ran.
I did NOT open the rdg file I had saved with my old server settings, instead, I created a new file. Things seemed to be ok until I added some groups with servers into them. The only setting changes I made was to Tools-> Options -> Tree -> sort order And to the logon credentials. Tools-> General -> Default group settings -> logon credentials, where I put in a different username/password than what I am logged on to the pc as.
Back in the main window on one of my groups I then disabled the "inherit from parent" option under Logon Credentials and changed it to a different account name/password.

I have used RDCMan for about 5years with no issue. Asked co-workers and none have issues.

I have reboot a few times.
Ran SFC/ SCANNOW - which did find issues but I ran it 4 times each with a reboot and it found all the same "errors" so I am thinking false positives.
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Found no errors each time I ran these.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Strangely enough, the issue was with VMware tools. We narrowed the issue down to only one virtual machine. I normally would start up RDCMan with a few connections being made at once, and had opened up multiple MSTSC RDP sessions, but we noticed it only happened on one machine.
Uninstall and re-install of VMWare tools fixed the issue....
