Intune /Microsoft Endpoint Manager - Does local peering / caching also work for wintune files
I know that Intune / Endpoint Manager allows for local peering so that a device can cache files such as windows updates, which then means that other devices on the LAN can pick up those updates without going out to the internet. I am just not sure if Wintune files (MSI files that have been converted in intune files) work in the same way and can rely on peering in order to preserve broadband links... Can anyone confirm, please?
A bit of context here: My scenario is in a migration setting where the users are primarily using MS Teams but have large programs(1gb) required on multiple devices that will all be built and rolled out at the same time. For example a school migration from on-premise to cloud, from physical server to serverless model.
apologies if I get the category wrong here, I couldn't see a more appropriate option
Many thanks,
TC
